ViaSpluga trekking tour

Enjoy the classic viaSpluga during the 2023 season!
 
A hiking experience which takes you to the very heart of the Alps, from where the extraordinary experience of the legendary Grand Tour began for a whole host of European intellectuals and artists from the eighteenth century onwards.
The viaSpluga is a hiking itinerary perfect for anyone who enjoys long, engaging outings in the mountains.
A genuinely experiential journey for anyone wishing to escape from everyday routines and revitalize those pivotal energies.
 
The Via Spluga is 70 kilometres in length. It leaves Thusis (720m) by way of the famous ViaMala gorge as far as Splügen (1457m). From this little town it turns towards the south, climbing up to the Spluga Pass at 2115m, which signals the highest point of the route. From here it thus begins its descent, taking in the entire length of Val San Giacomo until reaching Chiavenna at 333m.
 
You can discover the viaSpluga by enjoying one of a number of packages offered which include transport of luggage from one hotel to the next.
